ABDUCTION.
You steal me away to a deserted island, to the one place I’ve dreamed of being—the one place I can’t go.

SEDUCTION.
You’re used to buying whatever you want, but you can’t buy me...how do I resist the magnetism of your body, the longing ache deep inside me? I want you to take me—on my terms.

DESPERATION.
Every attempt you make to love me only hurts me. How can we go on like this?

This is the story of how I was TAKEN.

Rachael DeSalvo cares for those she loves with no regard for what she needs from them in return. When her father dies, her mother’s emotional dependency becomes overbearing. Unable to leave her distressed mother, Rachael turns down her dream job with Rocha Enterprises.

Billionaire real estate mogul, Merrick Rocha, knows what motivates people and what buttons to push to get what he wants. When the perfect project manager candidate turns down his job offer, it drives him mad. Three months of watching Rachael from afar has him more determined than ever to have her—for much, much more than an employee.

Merrick takes what he wants, but can he convince Rachael to give him what he needs?

I was not able to finish this book. The book started out pretty good and the prologue had me hooked in. The book is written in Rachael point of view. What really bother me and stopped me from reading this book is that Rachael keeps referring to Merrick as "you". It bother me to no end and I just could not finish the chapter let alone the book.

Book Review: Release Me by J. Kenner

Release Me by J. Kenner
Series: Stark Trilogy

Genre: Romance Erotica

Damien Stark could have his way with any woman. He was sexy, confident, and commanding: Anything he wanted, he got. And what he wanted was me.

Our attraction was unmistakable, almost beyond control, but as much as I ached to be his, I feared the pressures of his demands. Submitting to Damien meant I had to bare the darkest truth about my past—and risk breaking us apart.

But Damien was haunted, too. And as our passion came to obsess us both, his secrets threatened to destroy him—and us—forever.

This book really reminds be of a better written Fifty Shades of Gray combined with a bit of Bared to You. Damien Stark is a power driven Billionaire who always gets what he wants. Nikki Fairchild is a former beauty queen from Dallas who has meet Damien during her pageant days. Six years later they meet once again and spark fly. The first book contains a bit of everything, sex, cheating and even a bit of a murder. I did enjoy the character Nikki, she was strong but still was weak in her own way. Since the book did remind me of Fifty Shade of grey I did compare the characters a bit. This book did have less jealousy and BDSM (only a bit of tying up and spanking). The only thing I did find disturbing about the character Damien is that he did know more information about Nikki then he really should. Where Christian from Fifty Shade of Grey just did a background check, Damien waited for her to grow up almost borderline stalking, . Other then that little fact I really enjoy the book, it was well written and the plot was good. I love the fact this book did not have a lot of angst, mostly just hot sex. I highly recommend reading this book if you are a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey or Bared to You. I am really looking froward to reading the second book of the trilogy (Claim Me) out in July 2013.

Book Review: Always You by Karen Stivali

When Shari discovers that her fiancé has been cheating on her, she lets the wedding go on according to plan. Except while everyone else is at the church, Shari is heading to the airport to fly off on her honeymoon with her best friend, Jon.

Jon is only too happy to help Shari escape what he knew would have been an awful marriage. Plus he’s thrilled by the prospect of time alone with her in a tropical paradise. He’s always loved her, and desired her as a lot more than a friend.

A steamy, romantic night on the beach turns into a whirlwind of desire as they take their friendship to multiple new levels of passion. But when Shari’s apologetic ex tries to win her back, she must choose between the life she thought she was going to have with him and the possibility of love with Jon.

This was a really nice quick read. I do like the best friend falling in love plot a lot. Shari ex-fiance cheats on her with his ex girlfriend and she finds out just before the wedding. The day of the weeding she runs off to her honeymoon with Jon without telling anyone. Jon has been in love with her since they meet. I really love the character of Jon. He is sweet sexy and is head over heal in love with Shari. He is just enough sweetness and flirt all rolled into one. Jon is the kind of guy girls hope to find.  He basically drops everything to be with her. There is also a pretty hot masturbating scene between Jon and Sheri in the beginning of the book.
Overall the book is a really good toe curling read. Lots of great sex scene and a happy ending.

Kasie knows who she’s supposed to be. But one passionate night with a mysterious stranger will teach her who she wants to be.
You should sleep with a stranger, her best friend whispers in her ear as they take to Vegas for one last pre-wedding fling. Despite her best intentions, when Kasie Fitzgerald enters the casino and sees him, a man whose tailored clothes belied a powerful, even dangerous, presence, she loses herself to the moment. Maybe it’s the dress, much shorter than she’d ever normally wear, or the Scotch, but something makes her give herself over to him more completely than she's ever done with a man before.

It was supposed to be just one night. But right as she’s thinking she wants more, he shows up in her office with an agenda. As the billionaire CEO of a company that’s engaged her PR firm, his demands just became her reality...and he desires so much more than just some attention in the boardroom.

I was really enjoying the book. It was well written and I really like the characters. The only thing I did not like about the book was the cheating. If I knew I was not into the guy I am with anymore, I would just simply not stay with him. I definitely would not agree to marry him. I guess the cheating does give the book drama and motive. I do really like books when the characters "grows up", and this is one of those books. I am really looking forward to the next book. I can't wait till the next one comes out.

Mallory is certain that one of her friends – handsome but awkward Artie – hates her guts. The last thing she wants to do is go on a luscious weekend away with him and a few other buddies, to a cabin in the woods. But when she catches Artie doing something very dirty after a night spent listening to her relate some of her sexcapades to everyone, she can’t resist pushing his buttons a little harder. He might seem like a prude, but Mallory suspects he likes a little dirty talk. And Mallory has no problems inciting his long dormant desires.

I really do like this book. A short read but definitely worth the  read. The love and hate relationship at the beginning was pretty funny to read, especially the part when Mallory talk dirty using the phone book. I love how open Mallory is about sex and how she almost has to guide Artie into doing all the naughty things. I also love the dirty talking Artie does in the book. I didn't like the ending, I felt it was a bit rush. The "I love you" at the end was rushed too, they only really liked each other for about 3 weeks, so can they really "love" each other. I would have really liked it if this book was longer and went more into the relationship between Mallory and Artie. Overall, I do love the book and would recommend it.
